Apartments Smiljevac are situated in village Liznjan at the south-most part of Istria.

Liznjan is a small fishing settlement 2 km from Medulin. Although traditionally oriented towards agriculture and fishing, Liznjan is also known for its 28 km coastline dotted with many rocky beaches, while the place itself has a wonderful swimming beach.

Liznjan is also known for its natural heritage and a special characteristic to its fauna are endemic and protected species that live in that area.

For nature lovers keen on adventures Liznjan offers a riding center with a riding school, sports aerodrome, beach volley court, hunting area, scuba-diving and windsurfing area while those in favor of free climbing can find their place in the nearby nature park cape Kamenjak, one of the most beautiful oasis of nature in Croatia.
